Science Museum
9.2.16
So great to be invited to speak at the Science Museum. Delegates from all across the UK coming together to find out how to better welcome and support their visitors who are on the autism spectrum. I was particularly keen to put across the point of view of siblings, who often are not considered in the equation and can find their anticipated trip to a museum curtailed at very short notice! I was approached afterwards to come and speak directly with other museums. Very satisfying. Love this image of my boys together. Says a lot.
Kingston Univeristy - Social Work Students
2.12.15
Fantastic morning at Kingston University, using 'Understanding Stanley' to talk to Social Work Students about Autism. Something most of whom had not really considered. The power of photography to help others to feel, consider and understand.
